The Merriment of Springtime

Bring it on!!! Let’s celebrate this wonderful season by creating a variety of colorful creations keeping the theme of spring in mind. Friends will sculpt adorable clay animal pots with air plants, create lots of fun bird art, lizards, flower pots, frog planters, gnomes, garden sculptures, as well as paint and draw spring time paintings, scenes of whimsy, and beautiful garden art. Along the way we will have fun surprise art projects with gems and sparkles. Sooo much fun and the JOY of camaraderie.

The Art of Weaving

In this incredible class, friends will learn the art of weaving using a variety of techniques. Tapestry weaving, circle weaving, branch weaving, and a style of weaving that incorporates painting, as well as painted weaving for some spring garden art. If you love to weave and enjoy creativity this class is for you.

An inspiring class exploring clay techniques, and major creativity. Spring is the perfect time to create treasures that can go outside in the garden, as well as inside. Everyone will also have the opportunity to work on the pottery wheel ( we will rotate so everyone can have a turn). Exciting themes of spring will be explored including: Monster flower pots, adorable mushroom characters, cool fairy houses & wizard dwellings, gnomes, gargoyles, bird baths, bee baths, and a variety of super fun projects. Personal themes and exploration welcome. If you love to work in clay this class is a must for you.

Drawing, Painting, and Mixed Media
Ages 7-12

Inspired by the theme of spring and all it’s beauty, vibrant artists will draw, as well as create, several masterpieces on canvas, watercolor paper, collage boxes, and more. Many master works will be explored who rejoice in using color and a variety of painting styles. Sketch books will be provided, and we will venture out on a few walking field trips to draw and paint. If you love to draw, paint, and explore creative expression, this class is a must.

Workshop…Flowers for Mom
Ages 6-up… moms welcome too!
Saturday May 11 10:00-11:30
$28…..with mom $50 for both
Paint a lovely terra cotta pot for mom (or a loved one, including yourself) and fill it with beautiful flowers. For older artists who want a challenge you can add wire work and make a stunning masterpiece.

Party consists of an art project with time for refreshments

Ages (5 turning 6) For girls or boys.
Stuffed animals (dogs, bears, ocean creatures), backpacks, unicorn pillows, fish pillows, star pillows, painting and drawing, dress up, enchanted unicorn scenes, fairies, and more. Clay volcanos and dinosaurs, all sorts of animal themes, Fairy themes, Spring & Summer themes.
Ages 6-8 Back packs, dream pillows, stuffed animals, wishing bottles, animals in clay or paper mache painting, pet themes, lots of fairy projects, wizard houses, dream pillows, star pillows, animal pillows, fairy houses, painting pots and planting plants ….tons of Spring & Summer themes…the sky is the limit… endless ideas.
Ages 9-12 Dream pillows, coco masks, designer bags, wishing bottles, gourd animals, paintings, sea glass projects, painting clothing, many types of clay projects, lots of enchanting projects, lots of cool painting & drawing projects, felted creatures…Lots of Spring & Summer themes..Pick a theme and we will design the art. For an additional cost you can have a small gathering and do the pottery wheel.
