Step into the world of clay with confidence and curiosity! This class is designed for absolute beginners — no experience needed, just a willingness to play, explore, and enjoy the calming rhythm of working with your hands. You’ll learn essential hand-building techniques while creating imaginative, seasonal pieces that celebrate the magic of spring. Projects may include whimsical spring gnomes, charming birdhouses, tiny garden dwellings, sculptural blooms, and other joyful creations inspired by the season.

Along the way, you’ll experience how grounding and restorative clay can be — a gentle pause in the week that invites presence, creativity, and ease. This class is as much about community as it is about art. Expect a warm, supportive atmosphere where people encourage one another, share ideas, laugh, unwind, and enjoy the simple pleasure of making something with their hands. While the focus is on hand-building, you’ll also have the opportunity to try the pottery wheel if you’d like — simply as a fun, optional experience without pressure.
