Step into the world of clay with confidence and curiosity. This class is designed for absolute beginners — no experience needed, just a willingness to play, explore, and discover. Under Lauri and Julie’s guidance (their fall session was a huge hit, with rave reviews from students who loved every minute), you’ll learn essential hand-building techniques while creating imaginative, one-of-a-kind pieces.

Although the focus is on hand-building, you’ll also have the chance to try the pottery wheel a couple of times, a thrilling experience that gives you a taste of throwing clay. With Lauri’s love of gnomes and whimsy inspiring the projects, expect playful Valentine themes, wintry visions, and enchanting creations that spark joy. This class blends laughter, camaraderie, and creativity, turning simple clay into magical works of art.
