2017 Fall Classes

Welcome to The Little House of Arts …Where creativity soars!

Following a lifelong dream, art teacher Julie Hawkins opened the doors of this magical place 16 years ago. The studio offers classes and workshops in a variety of mediums. Julie’s goal has always been to provide a place for children and adults to express themselves while building self-esteem in the process. She believes that one has to feel safe, welcomed, and accepted for their unique visions. Each session begins with a warm welcome and introduction of each artist or art project. From there, the work unfolds both independently and collaboratively. Artists enjoy fun & camaraderie while learning new artistic techniques. Each participant is encouraged to use these new skills to enhance their own interpretations of the project.

Julie has a degree from Lesley College in Therapeutic & Creative Arts and has studied in a variety of places, including the Museum School in Boston & Mass Art. Julie is also educated in holistic studies & psychology, which add to her awareness and ability to bring out the best in people and help them learn to express themselves. Her teaching style is one of nurturing, inspiration, education and personal expression. Having traveled extensively, Julie also brings her love of various cultures into her classes.

We look forward to hearing from you!
